Von Gott Will Ich Nicht Lassen added to the Organ Page

My typical approach for preparing a symphonic registration arrangement did not work for this tune in Lutheran Service Book because that setting is copyrighted. So I searched for pubic domain settings. But the only one with typical SATB harmonization I found was in a non-compatible mode. However, my search did lead me to J.S. Bach’s chorale setting of this tune. And it is a good companion to LSB’s setting. With a few adjustments to keep with the rhythms and melody line used in LSB, here is my adaptation of Bach’s chorale for Von Gott Will Ich Nicht Lassen.

Today, I posted a symphonic registration arrangement for the hymn tune “Wo Gott zum Haus”. For those using Lutheran Service Book, you will find this arrangement supports Hymn # 399, “The Star Proclaims the King Is Here” and Hymn # 862, “Oh, Blest the House”.
