A Dream Come True

Soon after starting my engineering career in 1979, I had the daydream that some day I would retire from engineering and do church music as my avocation.  Well that day has finally arrived!  August 15 will be my last day working as an engineer for the City of Bakersfield, California.  Then we move to Stephenville, Texas where I will be Music Director for Faith Lutheran Church.  My primary duties will be playing organ for Sunday worship services, directing the adult vocal choir, directing the children’s chime choir, and working with the preschool music program.  I’m excited about the new job and the opportunity to help the members of Faith praise God through music.

While we won’t have a handbell choir, I hope to continue arranging hymns for handbell choirs and posting them here.  So please continue checking back periodically to see what I’ve done.

May God bless you and your handbell choir.
